Take Me to Spring

Spring can't get here any sooner, I am ready to wear flats and heels and light jackets and not worry about snow, sleet, ice, you name it. With all the Spring arrivals flooding into stores, I can't help but get excited, especially for this coat! I am seriously debating on justifying it as a early birthday present. ;)

Hope everyone has a great weekend, mine will spent trying a new restaurant, I heard Girl and the Goat is delicious.& of course I'll also be doing some homework and some errands throughout the weekend.

Snowy Days

There's something about snowy days, all I  wanna do is go outside and enjoy this winter wonderland than go inside to warm up with some hot chocolate! I have been loving this type of days to wear  long baggy sweaters and leggings! Also these black hunter rain boots have been in heavy rotation as well! Sequins+Tulle

With a week left before Christmas, the excitement is starting to build up! I still have a few people on my list, it's definitely time to hustle! I ended up re-using some of my favorites from last year  to create this holiday-esque outfit.You can't go wrong with tulle and sequins!

Thanksgiving Oufit Idea

Seriously, cannot believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving! A year ago my boyfriend was at boot camp & I wasn't able to spend this lovely holiday with him. This year,however, we will be enjoying a Thanksgiving lunch at his grandma's house. I'm thinking that this outfit I wearing today is basically what I plan on wearing tomorrow, it's casual but it still has a dressy feel to it. (Don't worry the fit on the skirt is a loose fit to begin with, just enough for me to get away with eating until my heart is content!) 

To follow we will be hosting our very first Thanksgiving dinner at our apartment with my family. It's seriously so crazy how time flies by and I'm old enough to do that, this year has been a lot of firsts and it will continue as I enter adulthood. Eeep!

Winter Outfit: Loving Pastels

Pastels have always been a favorite of mine and this color scheme isn't only for spring but for the winter time as well. This outfit would be perfect for a Christmas lunch at the future in-laws house. It perfect and simple, the fuzzy sweater I found at Forever 21 is actually longer and it could be used as a sweater dress but I couldn't help but want to pair this blush pink skater skirt with it!

Crazy for Plaid

Lately, I can't seem to have enough plaid! Who's with me? I am obsessed with the new ones J.crew has in stock right now but in the meantime I'll settle for some cute ones I found at Forever 21 and for the fraction of the price.

I have recently gotten into the faux fur trend, I am seriously looking into getting a faux fur snood next and maybe another vest to add to my wardrobe. If leather or animal print isn't your thing maybe you might like this trend.Thoughts?

New York, New York

I went to New York once and haven't stopped thinking about that amazing experience since. I loved the city lights and the stores at Time Square closing early hours in the morning. I went there for a week and all I could think of was "I need more time" and its true I wasn't able to go to the many places I wanted to go but what I did see, I loved. Especially 5th Avenue (for obvious reasons) and Central Park, I can only imagine how beautiful it looks during the Fall. Until then this tee can be lovely reminder of New York and all its wonders.
