Feeling Pastel

Target crop top // Target skirt // Zara sandals (old but similar) // Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC // Sparkle and Sophistication tassel necklace c/o // Karen Walker Sunglasses // Pandora Bracelet.

The moment I walked into Target, I knew it was going to be trouble. I usually find one to two great pieces at a time but at that moment I wanted to buy the women's/ junior's section!! However, I had to restrain myself and choose two pieces that I could wear together or separately with other classic wardrobe pieces I already own. The crop top was soft  with a flower detail in the front and this skort is perfect for those hot summer days and I love anything that has shorts underneath. Especially, with the wind we get here in Chicago, it's kinda necessary while walking around the city!

Stripes+ Leopard Print

Hey there! Long time no see huh? I have finally finished my last semester in college and I couldn't feel any better! The weather was perfect for Commencement and i was surrounded my all my loved ones as I close another chapter/endeavor in my life. I have been wanting to wear nothing but dresses and skirts ever since we got the nice weather to come around. Lately, I've also been mixing prints, even for work attire! I love paring leopard heels with some stripes!

Full of Color

This outfit has to be one of my favorites to date. It was so comfortable and full of color, I wore this on Sunday and wore a jean jacket (not shown) to make the outfit more basic during my errands that morning and than took it off as soon as I went on a little date with my fiance at La Fournette Bakery on Wells St. Seriously, the pistachio and rasberry macarons were my favorite, the weather was great and its finally starting to feel like Spring. :)

Black Uniform

I have realized that the color black has been in constant rotation, it's just an easy outfit when you're flying out the door. Weekends are usually the only time I have to do errands and maybe work on some  homework so comfort is key!

Outfit details: Old Navy coat (sold out)// Celfie tee // Target pants // Target booties // Michael Kors Handbag //  J.crew belt // Ray-Ban mirrored sunglasses.

However, this weekend was a little more special! I got engaged to the love of my life and I can't wait to spend forever with him! He popped the question on Valentine's Day and I am so happy! Thank you all for the sweet comments and wishes.
Charlie & I truly appreciate it!

Hot Pink

Outfit Details: Shirt // Skirt // Baublebar Necklace (similar)// Target heels (old but similar).

Can you believe Valentine's Day is this Friday? I have realized that this year I have gotten even more involved with most holidays, decorated my office space and have planned out valentines color outfits for work! Except for this one, this outfit is definitely a more going out kinda look!  I have loving the midi skirt trend, especially bright colored one skirts, I couldn't pass up this cute hot pink one! I wore this on Saturday for a date, of course I had my snow boots handy and than switched out to these metallic heels! This look is great for the day time too because the chambray look eases the outfit and makes it  a more "dressed up casual attire."
Hope everyone has a great Monday!! :)

Add Color

Outfit Details: Zara sweater // J.crew Pants // American Eagle Coat // Target heels // Sparkle and Sophistication tassel necklace c/o
Lately I've been crushing on winter whites, especially this fuzzy sweater from Zara. Which was on sale for less than 20 dollars! I guess winter in the Midwest isn't bad at all when you have winter sales and the items you buy are still to very good use. I have been trying to incorporate more lively colors into my wardrobe to brighten an outfit up. In this case I used bright pink lipstick and a cobalt blue to add that color!
Also the wonderful necklace I am wearing is from a very sweet person behind Sparkle and Sophistication. She is so easy to communicate with and her jewelry is fab, definitely check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Hope you all had a great weekend & Happy Monday!

Pretty in Bright Pink

I was constantly refreshing my emails last night, hoping that I would get an email from my professors  stating that classes would be canceled today due to the weather. Well, early this morning I got the email I was waiting for! I am going to bake cookies and stay warm inside!

What also happens is that it gets super hard to post outfit pictures when it's this cold out. I must sound like a broken record because I always seem to mention this. & I only say it because it kills me that I am not able to post strong content everyday for all my lovely readers but it's also a personal thing. I love blogging, it has become such an important thing in my life and in my everyday routine.

Trendy in the Cold

So after the holidays my favorite places like J.crew, Zara, and Asos were having major sales and I couldn't help but get myself a faux fur coat. & this one was calling my name, I never thought I could pull it off, sometimes you need to put it on in order to know how you really feel about it. Loved how it looked and felt, of course it's a coat you must layer in, with the cold we've been having. I rather look like a puffy marshmallow than freeze to death!
