Commuting In Style

Getting to work can be a bit of a hassle during the winter time since I take public transportation. My daily commute is about 25 minutes, its not too shabby. The walking can be a bit of a challenge when there's snow on sidewalks and puddles everywhere. Suede shoes is not an option, neither are flats! I usually wear my hunters for this type of commute and have my flats in my tote.

 I love that Hunter boots are both convenient and stylish!

Polka Dots+Tiffany Blue Hunters

I don't even know where to start with these rain boots, the truth of the matter is that everyone should have a pair, period. I am so happy with all 3 pairs I have. Yup 3! Its a bit out of control that I think I need so many rain boots but its so hard to just have a pair when they come in the prettiest colors. As you all know Tiffany blue is one of my favorite colors and I just had to get these. Don't think they are just for show because they do come handy and are very durable and comfortable or else I wouldn't be tempting you buy some Hunter Boots. ;)

Pink & Casual

Warning: This outfit was worn on that one day Chicago wanted to tease us with some nice weather. If you know better today you know to layer warmly! 

I feel like lately I have gravitating towards my hunters more than any other footwear, they are so convenient and comfortable, I already ordered another pair! Any guesses on what color?

Tartan+Grey

& so the last weekend before I go back to school, gotta enjoy it while it lasts because soon enough papers and tests will be taking over. I enjoy school,don't get me wrong but sometimes just sometimes I wish I was DONE! However, I do have something to look forward to I will be going to San Antonio, Texas for Spring Break! Cannot wait to see my boyfriend.

Let's just say I was dying over this shirt since it came out and  I got it at full price and it killed me to see it on sale right now! "If only I had waited a few more weeks"... but sometimes you just got to pull the trigger if you know the odds of finding your size is very unlikely. (Which half the time for me is true.)

I love dressing this shirt up and down and grey looks fabulous with it!

Animal

Feeling rather foxy eh? I found this little piece Target for $24.99 The price is little much for something at Tar-jay but my theory with dresses that you can use them various ways so I convinced myself to buy it. It doesn't take much! LOL

Also it reminded me of Tory Burch's foxy pieces, it looks nearly identical!

Preppy As Usual

I have been trying to find a decent place to take indoor pictures for when it rains or it's not to great to do outside especially in the winter time. I have no idea how well this will work you all and I hope that everything is still viewed clearly.

This was yesterday's outfit, very laid back with a splash of preppyness. I am in love with rain boots especially different colored ones, I plan on getting some pink ones soon. The weather changed through out the day and I ended up swapping my Hunters for my Ash Toms.

 

Oh and I had my first half-birthday present yesterday. I never get those, it just seemed reasonable to say it was becasue that's when my order came in, it worked out that way.

Rain Rain Go Away

SO here you have it... 54 degrees in the Windy City, one day before June, that's right you heard it. This was my outfit yesterday and although the weather today isn't any better. I had to go back to my ultimate favorites. You can never go wrong with these pieces. I have come to realize through this blog that I am a blue kinda gal. When I used to think I had too much pink, I was wrong. Blue is  my go to, it seems. But I don't mind it, blue goes with everything really. 

I also had the chance to pull out the rubber boots and splash in the puddles, just because I can :)
