Keeping Warm

While Chicago makes up its mind on what weather to bring us. I have been 

 low-key on my outfit choices. Very soft textures and warmness are a must

onto choosing what to wear everyday. Thankfully, I found this lovely hallway inside where I can snap some pictures, it's way too cold out there!

Blue+Hints of Red

First thing's first if you couldn't already tell I am beyond freezing in these pictures taken below, after the photo shoot I opted to go back home and wear my black boots and wear a hat,(sorry hair bun) but my ears were frozen. 

I have been loving the whole red and cobalt blue mix and it might be because reminds me of the nautical pattern..... which reminds me of Spring which seems so far far off from what the weather brought today. I can't wait for the warm weather!

Double Up on The Denim

Afraid to do the denim on denim top and bottoms? Fear no more, you can still pull it off by just using a chambray shirt and your favorite jean jacket. I seriously wear my chambray shirt all the time, if it's not in your closet it is definitely an investment, trust me.

Hot Pink+Gingham

First off, Happy New Year! Second of all, I know I went M.I.A for what seemed an eternity for me. But I am back to get into the groove of things! 

As soon as the holidays are over, the malls, the stores have spring/summer already in mind. I have seen bathing suits and neons making a come back, guess we just miss summer so much why not bring in January? But I know that's how the fashion world works always a step ahead.  

I was inspired to wear my hot pink and gingham shirt and sparkles (the usual) to greet a very bright year ahead :)

Finals

First off.... don't worry I am still alive and kicking. I have been M.I.A for finals, thye have been sucking up all my free time. Although finals are this week, I decided to show you all what I wear while "studying hard" for finals. Plus I miss my little blog and thought I could use a break from all the madness!  

In other happenings can you tell I am quite in love with my navy vest? I am indeed!  I even  bought another! Can you guess what color I got?

Daytime Sequins

  Yes, it's acceptable to wear sequins during the day! I am 100% that wearing sequins can add that sparkle you need, without looking like you're going to a NYE party. I incorporated this dress, to be the skirt in this outfit and I layered two sweaters for warmth and style and topped it off with a silver belt.

Animal

Feeling rather foxy eh? I found this little piece Target for $24.99 The price is little much for something at Tar-jay but my theory with dresses that you can use them various ways so I convinced myself to buy it. It doesn't take much! LOL

Also it reminded me of Tory Burch's foxy pieces, it looks nearly identical!

Shine Through

 The other day an older woman complimented my shoes and then said enjoy wearing glitter while you're young. Now we all know I am obsessed with sequins and glitter. But this comment really made me think will I ever grow out of my love for anything that glitters? Is there any sort of "age" where you're not supposed to wear it? Since I don't know the answer to that, I shall put it aside and enjoy it as much as I can for my obsession only grows more and more everyday. Hopefully I won't look like a fashion disaster when I am older.
