It feels like Christmas in July for me because there have been so many great summer summer sales happening lately and it also makes me feel like summer is half way over. I realized when I moved to the city for college, I was not well equipped for the winters in the city of Chicago. I used to live in the suburbs, where you drive everywhere so dealing with the cold isn't all that bad. Well, I knew that I needed a few things and asap. Over the past two years I have extended my winter wardrobe and  couldn't be happier, especially with negative temps in Chicago we have today!

Faux Leather+Stripes

Faux leather pants, faux leather tops/or sleeves and skirts are making a statement this Fall. I got this little number a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier for picking this up. I know at first it seems hard to envision it into your wardrobe but you can make it happen, especially if its black. I incorporated my striped tee and some open toed heels that have been a favorite through the years!

Hello everyone hope everyone is having a fabulous day. I am feeling more refreshed this week since I started to work out or at least attempting to, I am one of those girls who expect results within a day and give up quite easily, I hope this time around I try to not give up. Do any of you know of a great place to do Zumba or Pilates,please let me know. 

I know I'm totally off topic, when I should be talking about how much I love this look, so simple and sweet. I love the two different textures together.

Put A Bow On It

 I am finally showcasing my birthday shoes; yes my birthday was a couple months ago. I also know I should have shown you all as soon as I had gotten them but I just never got around to it (WHOOPS!). I have to say these are probably my most treasured heels thus far, for many obvious reasons. Made by Kate Spade, the gold bow detail, and the mint tone… need I say more?     

Btw if you are eying these printed floral shorts? >Run< to your local H&M, LITERALLY because they were only 10 dollars. Definite steal and the quality is pretty good.

Hey there, happy Tuesday to you all. The faster these two weeks go the better. I will be leaving to Texas for Spring Break! How exciting! 

For this time of the year I like using my good old winter colors and incorporating the light spring colors, blush has been one of my favorites so far. :)
