Seriously, this coat has probably been one of the best end of the season purchases I have made in January. I was literally refreshing the page every so often to see if this coat would go back in stock! So happy I was able to snag it on sale!

I have been wearing lots of neutrals lately,because  bright colors aren't happening for me lately. It definitely has a lot to do with the cold weather we continue to have in the Windy City. Can't see that changing for a while.

Trendy in the Cold

So after the holidays my favorite places like J.crew, Zara, and Asos were having major sales and I couldn't help but get myself a faux fur coat. & this one was calling my name, I never thought I could pull it off, sometimes you need to put it on in order to know how you really feel about it. Loved how it looked and felt, of course it's a coat you must layer in, with the cold we've been having. I rather look like a puffy marshmallow than freeze to death!

Cozy knitwear

Cozy knitwear and dainty jewelry have been on constant rotation lately for work. 

However, with the cold Chicago brings us, you best believe I bundled up and layered! 

Now that Christmas has come and gone, the cold and snow can bid us goodbye. Speaking of goodbyes, 2013 is at its end, seriously the older I get the faster time goes.

I can't wait to ring in the new year, happy monday to all!

What I wore

  Hey there lovelies, I don't know about you, but I am ready for it to be the weekend again! I have been super duper stressed with work & school. & its definitely taken a toll on me. All I want to do cuddle under fuzzy blankets and have a hot chocolate in hand. Who's with me?

Anyways, I have been so in love with warm cozy soft sweaters and this one has been constantly on rotation!

Which btw are amazingly comfortable, I wore them all weekend and even went shopping in them all day. Don't let the heel deceive you, I had to search high and low for these pretties. Weekend Wear

Alright, showcasing yet another find from the Phillip Lim x Target collection. Have you had enough yet? These babies were literally the first to fly off the shelfs, I hesitated on the color at first but just grabbed it anyway and I'm glad I did. 

 Also, let me just say how comfy these pants are! Literally, worthy enough to sleep in, I wonder if Asos carries them in black?

Ideal Rainy Day

When it rains, it should only mean one thing, lounging in pjs with a cup of tea in hand and browsing on my macbook. I tend to 'shop' and be seriously tempted to buy what I think I need! If I posted everything I wanted it would be a never ending post, but see, the thing is  I can't lounge in pjs and do what I know I'd enjoy doing on these gloomy days. I have to work and make that money that pays my bills and my addiction!

I had such a hard time finding mint jeans that were both cute and economic. And the only place I found was Forever 21, now I usually don't buy jeans from there and I had no clue what size I would be if I were to buy any, now before all this I had seen these mint jeans online about 2 months ago! So when I finally decided to get them, the pants were gone! SOO, I went to the store and asked them if they had any more in stock and they didn't... so they called every Forever 21 that did and finally one had 1 left! I was in luck I got mine for $15.50. I have been looking into buying different colors and the only places I would recommend getting them from Forever 21, American Eagle, Express & Urban Outfitters. But if you are willing to spend more cash then Paige and Free People would be great purchases!
