Shopping Late

Next week is a big week for fashion!! Just thinking about it gets me all excited, we have New York Fashion Week, as well as IFBcon and LUCKYFABB for all my bloggers out there and Fashion's Night out. Now, sadly I don't have have any invites to go see any fashion shows (Darn!) and I couldn't make it to this year's blogger conferences.

 So I am left with the one and only possible choice and that is FNO. Now for those who aren't familiar with this event, it's a day where stores are open late, I had a great time last year with a friend and can't wait to do it again in 6 days! 

Here's the info, it's all over the world from Mexico to Paris, select stores will have drinks, appetizers and even prizes and YOU, my friend get to enjoy shopping late.

Polka .

 I do not know how I did not think of this before but I am glad I figured it out. I have wanting a big polk dotted shirt, tank or tee and I haven't had luck finding one. Yes, various stores do have a few styles but every time I go, it's either out of stock or no where near where I live. 

So I improvised, I used my polka dotted bodycon dress and put a skirt on.

Pulling It Together

 Things are getting hectic people! I have been running around like a crazy person because it's hard adjusting to my new school schedule and dealing with the pain of waking up early.(I like to sleep in) & trying to take outfit of the day pictures.

I have also decided that I am going to try to wear my shorts as much as possible because who knows until when this beautiful weather will last! And it's almost time to say good bye to neons. But I am thrilled to see what Fall's trends have in stock! :)

Back to School

Well it's the most wonderful time of the year again, well at least for parents it is. The people going back to school are not as ecstatic. I have mixed feelings about school, it's what you call a love/hate relationship...I do not start school until tomorrow, but I had to pick up books and get some paperwork done and so here you have it.

Oldie Makes A Comeback

I have had this dress for years now, and I still love it. It looks so girly and sweet. I love the material and it's comfortable to be in. 

I wore this to my lunch date with the boyfriend today, we went to Tavern On Rush in Chicago. It was quite delicious and the ambiance is great! I wish I went on lunch dates everyday really, who doesn't like food?!

In Those Jeans

The tripod adventures continues, I have yet to get the hang of it but bear with me. And let me just say, it is awkward taking pictures outside people stare and look at you funny. I guess, I would have done the same thing!

Lately I have ben gravitating towards the jeans.  It's always nice to go back to the your ol' jeans, so I added some nicer accessories to balance the "chill" outfit. Also know that the boyfriend jean transitions well into fall! I know I need to stock up on some too!

Monday Blues.

It's a gloomy day here in Chicago and it reminds me so much of Fall, it's basically around the corner and so is school. I will be heading back in less then a week. I am happy to be going back, but just you wait.The complaining will start mid-semester! 

Lately, I have been loving the minnie pants from J.crew. They are stretchy and  well fitted and I like wearing them with basically everything. If I could I would get these in every color! Perfect dress pants.

Denim On Denim

         It may seem a little matchy matchy but I really like the concept of the different tones of denim. Not something you usually see a person wear, but my advice isn't just on denim it can certainly work with any color scheme you want, just think: light tone dark tone of the same color!

Now, I may have gone a little overboard with my shoes, but that's only because I have been neglecting them all summer! By the way, these Soludos are so lightweight and comfy, got them on sale for $11 at J.crew (of course!)

Pre-Fall

Who has been enjoying this weather?! I have, it is getting me super excited for Fall! I am getting so ahead of myself that I am already looking at jackets and riding boots galore! ( I have been eyeing a pair form Tory Burch)

Festa Italiana OOTN

This weekend was very eventful, in Chicago there was "Festa Italiana". There were so many people and many great stands to buy little goodies and delicious food. I had a great time with my best friend. 

As odd as it may sound, I had to opt for a sweater this weekend was pre-fall weather.  I didn't mind, since this sparkly sweater has been waiting to be worn out!
