On The Edge With A Feminine Touch

If you don't want to look so hardcore and edgy during the daytime. A feminine touch can always help. To tone it down I added this light pink sweater with a peter pan collar for the extra glitz. I love the contrast between these two pieces. Faux leather pants, always seem to make a comeback during the fall time, don't want to hurt your bank account? Places like Kohl's and TopShop happen to have some similar in reasonable prices!

Chevron & Burgundy

 It's time to layer up and stay nice and warm. I like this kinda weather because it only means that the holidays are near. Yea, I know I am kinda crazy mentioning winter holidays when Halloween hasn't even  occurred. But what can I say, I am always thinking ahead.

Although it was very cold out, I decided to be brave and take off my pea coat for a quick photo shoot. To show you all, nonetheless my sequined chevron shirt. I wish I could find more items in this pattern, which happens to be my third favorite other then polka dots and stripes, of course.

Sparkling best

If I could I would wear sequins and sparkles all day, everyday. This sweater was probably one of my favorite buys thus far. This sweater can be dressed up or down. Since the weather was cooperating I decided to wear a high low skirt. 

Oh, and if you all haven't noticed I made a small change to my hair.

Feelin Under The Weather.

Let's just say this week has been a handful. & it doesn't help that I got sick. Well, when I get sick, all I wanna do is stay under some blankets and drink some hot tea. But that's not happening for this college kid.

Stripes Are the New Black

 I have a serious case with stripes. I want to wear them all time and it doesn’t help that half my wardrobe consists of these wonderful stripes. But I can’t help it, some people wear too much black and I wear too much stripes. It has become such a neutral in my eyes especially the navy and white. You can mix it up with anything and it still looks fabulous.

It's no surprise that today I will be talking about J.crew. I know I am very repetitive but that store is just the best for me, the quality on most of their merchandise is great and let's be honest the prices on some of these items can be ridiculous and I am a college girl on a budget, so word of advice: Shop the sale rack! You would be surprised how much you save, but it is so worth it!

Faux Fur Chic

I have been meaning to get a faux fur "something"...and at last I found this vest that was nice to my bank acoount and added a piece that had different feel to my wardrobe. I got this  at H&M for $34.99, get one while they last.

I decided to pair it up with a denim jacket, black pixie pants and I am ready to go!

On Wednesday We Wear Pink

So I have a confession, I bought this skirt in the spring time and did not wear it at all until now. I am happy I did, this pencil skirt is so classy and it can work with many different colors but as usual, I am a neutrals kinda girl, but some other great colors that could work with this is a burgundy or navy blue. By the way I love how my neighborhood looks in this time of the year!

Cozy knit Cute skirt

I'm trying to get my last fix on skirts before the cold is here to stay for a couple of months. This skirt is so soft and flowy and the color is just perfect, I matched it up with a cozy knit sweater so I wouldn't get too cold. Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

Bordeaux, Burgundy, Oxblood

Yes, these are all names of the different shades of a deep red that have been trending for this fall season. I am keeping the colored jean/pant trend alive incorporating this lovely color. I just purchased these pants from H&M this weekend for a low price of 35 dollars. Now I am on the lookout for the perfect top in this color!

Autumn Tones

By the looks of these pictures it doesn't look like it's really cold but it was! I just pulled myself together and made a quick photo-shoot. I must say I may have to invest in really cute outerwear for the near future.

Currently Loving Riding Boots

Tory Burch has not failed me yet. When I first saw these boots it was love at first sight.  I couldn't help but to get them. They are so versatile and great to walk in. I don't ever want to take them off! You will definitely be seeing them all over my blog all the time. So there, you were warned! 

In other news, hunter green and burgundy have been making it into my top fall color trends. From nail polish to shirts to cardigans, it will add that subtle pop of color to your outfit.
