Stripe Hype

Hello darlings, so today I wanted to share my obsession with stripes. Big Stripes , little stripes, you name it...I want it! But that was not always the case  because someone had told me "stripes make you look bigger" so I avoided stripes at all cost! I never even considered it until now. Let's just say... I am very self conscious, and now I have decided to give them a try again. I have been buying striped sweaters, tanks and dresses! I am hooked! So what has been your latest "striped" purchase? Ok ok I have to say it. I, as well as many of you went to go see The Hunger Games. I was NOT one bit disappointed, it was really good! Considering I didn't read the book but as many as you might say books are always better. In which I completely agree with. I am thinking about reading the series what do you guys think? To read or not to read?

I have recently bought these items about a week ago. And I cannot seem to get enough of the Kate Spade bow earrings! They were on the pricey side 40 dollars but for me it was well worth it! (Similar here & here)

As many of you know J.crew has been the new "it" spot...for me that is. Although everything in there is so expensive I have recently found out that  students get a discount!! So hurry and go! I got this necklace for 10 dollars. When I showed my boyfriend this he instantly said "can't you get this at Claire's for like 3 dollars?" I am sure I could but I didn't think of it at the time. But I rather get my accessories from forever  21, cute and cheap!

I am absolutely ecstatic about these shoes. Surprisingly very comfy too! I have yet to up with a dressy outfit so I can wear these more often! They are definitely the statement piece of the outfit! 

So I ended up watching The Lorax last night and I loved it! Dr. Seuss is so wise! I can't wait to buy his whole book collection someday!

I decided to "brighten up" today because it has been very gloomy and the weather is back to normal...sort of. Mother Nature cannot seem to make up her mind! But as long as it doesn't get lower then 50 degrees I won't complain!

Delightful Surprise

I am so excited to let you guys know that I finally own a watch! And not just any watch but a Michael Kors Watch. It's everything I wanted, I was not planning on getting or receiving one any time soon since my birthday has past and there aren't any gushy mushy anniversaries coming up  but my awesome boyfriend was like " Let's get you a watch, I know it's a fashion investment that you really wanted" I agreed with him completely!

I have been really iffy with my wardrobe because it has been super hot here in Chicago. It's only March, people! I mean, we skipped cardigans and cropped jeans and went straight to booty shorts and tanks... well some did. :) But I wanted to play it safe, because in the back of my mind I feel like it should still be cold...

Anyways, I went with something simple and then you get to my shoes and BAM! I am so in love with these shoes, you can't avoid these babies! 

Not Your Average Monday.

So I am officially on spring break! It has been a great start, I spent the whole day shopping and catching up with some friends! I am excited for the rest of this week. Although I should have a day or two doing homework or something productive. But no no, we must not think about school for a week! 

I decided I should set myself a budget because I am getting out of control! I don't know exactly if that will work but we gotta give a shot!

Yesterday was such a busy day, I was not able to post anything, especially no outfit of the day... with no camera man aka my boyfriend. Anyways, I want to share a little bit more of myself and what I do or spend my money on (tee-hee) 

I love going through magazines, I go through them pretty much a thousand times and circle everything I want... which is everything ;)

One of my favorite nail polish brands, they run about 16 dollars a piece. It's one of my many weaknesses.

I am obsessed with this movie, I know i am a kid at heart! And sometimes I replay movies like this one and just listen to them as I blog or read...or whatever. lol

Feeling Irish

It was my first year attending Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade! It was good, I liked it a lot but is it bad I am already thinking of what I am going to do next year? I just found out that the Chicago River gets dyed GREEN, but I wanted to be at the parade instead. My Boyfriend & I had fun!
